Birding Adventure On July 2, At Page Spring

Our advnture starts at the beginning of a 10 miles run.
You pass over the Blitzen River, which is only a one lane brige, before you come to your right hand turn.  There is very little traffic.  But the sites you see is worth the time and miles.
Our first interesting thing was the Buzzards Toward. Buzzards come in all shapes and sizes. They have been  here, at the tower,  every visit since 2008 and before.

Deer are  all around.  Breeding time is Oct.to June.  Females have from 1 to 2 young
 ones.
This is just one view of the medows on our 10 mile run.
There are many ponds that you will pass by , such as this one Krumbo Lake.
DesertDale walking across  bridge near Krumbo Dam.

Now posting some of the photos DesertDale has taken on our run.
Deer live in forests or sage washes or meadows.  They do move around night or day.
The antelope are found in dry open grasslands.
This is a Cowbird getting a free ride on the back of a deer.   They are found in open wooded low-lands, farms in the winter.
The Great-white Egret lives in coastal by ways and marshes.

Enjoy life.  Kitfoxgal
