Robinson Mine Adventure, Near Ruth Nevada

On to a new adventure here at our Ruth, NA. site.  DesertDale took these photo as my computer is not up to par.  I have to key everything on the, " old tired out one".  Then to see if it looks ok I have use Dale's Toshiba to see what it looks like.  If all looks good , I then go to my
"old tired out one"  and post it.

The Robinson Mine is a wholly owned operation.   It is 9 miles west of Ely. in White Pine Co. of Nevada, off of U.S.Highway 50.

Copper-gold concentrates are transported by truck from the mine to west Wendover, Utah, where it goes by train, then to a seaport.

There are about 600 people working there.  This photo was taken last year on our outing then, by DesertDale.
The operation has been  doing this for some 100 years.  On 2011 they produced 95 million pounds of copper and 30,000 ounces of gold.

desertdale just came back  with the  parts, he needed for his KTM.  Now he will in his happy mode.  It has been a long time that his KTM has been out of service.

What ever you do enjoy life now, while you can.  We do.  Kitfoxgal
