American River Parkway Adventure

DesertDale and Kitfoxgal went birding at the American River Parkway. Not far from our site in Rio Linda.
The American River Natural History Association (ARNHA),  was founded in 1981 to support educational and interpretive activities in the American River Parkway.

This is the American River.  There are real nice path way all over the site.  DesertDale came down here was he was just a boy, going to school, as he did not live far from here.
DesertDale looking for birds or some wild animals such as these,
Deers, squirrels and many many turkeys.  Photo of those will be posted in a few days.
This bird is a California Towhee
This is a Great Blue Heron that we saw at the Yolo By-Pass.
The Effie Yeaw Nature Center is a great site for walking, see lots of rabbits, turkeys and many birds.
Now off to our old stand-by The Yolo By-Pass.
 Enjoy life.  Kitfoxgal
