We have arrived at a KOA camp site in Mancester , near the Ocean . I must say it is one fantastic site, as you can see.
All roads and access trail from the KOA leads to the Pacific Ocean . There are trails leading to the ocean, where you can walk to the beach , see tide pools and there are abalone sites for diving . There are 2 local lighthouses, such as Point Area ,Anderson Valley wineries and fishing near by.
KOA also have hayrides, ice cream socials and many hoilday events. Plus year round hot tub, community campfire area. Pool is open from April15 to Oct. 15.
They have a Dump site and water galore.
Our site with lots of sun, which we ask for , for our solar. They do have out lets for power.
I enjoy the trip down to Point Area on the docks. This is the Pier at one end of docs. It was built around the a small harbor. They offer a variety of shops, restaurants and lodging and a city park, library, bike paths, plus a very historic theater. Then there are Peregrines. This one of DesertDale best photos.
