Burros At Bog Hot

Good morning to all my readers.  DesertDale looking at the "hot springs" coming out of the ground, yesterday, when he took the Kitfoxgal on a ride, in the pick-up of course.
Burro in Spanish is for donkey.
The first burro to reach the United States may have crossed the Rio Grenade in 1598.
In the "Gold Rush Days", 19th centry",they were "beast of burden".  When the Gold Rush ended many escaped or were just abanded.
Today they are protected by the "Wild and Free Roaming Horses and Burros Act of 1971".
Arizona-2248, Calif.-1068, Nevada-1177, Oregan-15, Utah-164,  as far as I could find that is all that is left today.
This was taken in 2008 of the "Blound Burro" out here at Bog Hot.  We did not have the pleasure of seeing him this year.
