Dyer, Nevada Lunch At The Boonies

DesertDale took the Kitfoxgal to lunch, at "The Boonies", in Dyer, NV. Yummy, yum.  We did stop by the post office first, she said come back at 12:30.  So off to lunch we went to
"The Boonies Restaurant & Saloon", just down the street , from the big post office.

The 3 doors on the photo above is the "Fitness Center" in Dyer.

The Boonies Restaurant & Saloon has a rusty look, neat.  We had a hamburger with cheese and a green chili  on it , plus lots and lots of French Fries.  It was A1.  I could not eat it all.
Their hours are M-F Lunch,  Sat.-Sun. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.  The service is A1, plus the food was A1, better then a McDonald's.

Dyer, Nevada is in Fish Lake Valley.   It got it's start when the Palmetto Mining District was discovered in 1866. Many of the ranches supplied food to the freight industry and mining communities.
The town got its name after Alex P. Dyer, the first postmaster in 1881.

We are now heading back to our camp site at the "hot springs".

Where DesertDale can have the joy of taking more photos like these , of the "Cinnamon Teals".

Enjoy life.  Kitfoxgal
