Anza-Borrego Desert State Park

Anza-Borrego was one fantastic adventure, with our friends Dick and Virginia, plus Dwayne and Toni, and all the other Bonndockers that was at our site at the Borrego Site Campout.

Dwayne took DesertDale and Kitfoxgal on a outing to  the Palm Canyon.  Went a outing Kitfoxgal had, she ended up with 2 black eyes by not looking down at the trail.

Borrego Palm Canyon is a very popular trail.  It will lead you to the third largest palm-oasis in California.   It is a well-watered oasis. It became a park back in the 20's.
You might see a bighorn sheep, which we did not that lucky.
But Kitfoxgal did pick up 2 black eyes, as see fell on a rock .  She landed just above her right eye.  So she rested while DesertDale an Dwayne went on.

The canyon is vegetated by California's only native species of palm. If you would like along hike  you can explore father up the canyon.  When at spring time the wildflowers are many.

Enjoy the posting as much as the Kitfoxgal did on the adventure.
