Vicksburg's Outing

DesertDale  was out viewing our site at Bouse.  He came in and said he was taking me on a adventure to Vicksburg, AZ our next stop.

What a site, there are many Saguaro cactus.  The Saguaro  is a very slow growing plant it may grow to one foot in 20 years,  30 years to reach 2 feet.  Then in 40 years it can shoot up to 4 feet tall.  It will start to grow arms at 40 to 75 years it will start to grow arms.

This is just a view of the area around Vicksburg.  It was a little cloudy the day this was taken.

Then we come up on the Kofa Cafe at 42370 Vicksburg Rd.  in Salome.  Cross street is Eden Park Rd..  Good meals and reasonable price.

As we were driving we had this odor . It was bad.  There are these huge dairy farms along the road.  There are many  in the area  Like the one above.  That was just part.of one.

WE had a very scenic ride but could have done  with out the smell.
Enjoy life while you can  Kitfoxgal
