Sump Adventure With DesertDale

Well folks DesertDale took me on another fascinating ride.  You know he goes riding on his KTM.  He find these sites, then he takes me on the ones we can make it with the pick-up.  What a great job he does.
The photo above it that of  White Mountains, not far from our site.

This site of the petroglyphs  is one of the sites we went to.  Petroglyphs is a rock art made by the Indians that lived in  the area.  Rock Art is found many different areas of the world.

Just another view of the White Mountains seen on our adventure.

This is a view of the Sump, very poor photo, but all we could get.   The Sump is what erosion does over the years.  Wind, snow, and rain carved the sedimentary rock into tall columns, smooth mounds, and rippled, curtain- like rock walls.  The Sump also has a grove of petrified trees.

DesertDale waiting for Kitfoxgal too down from viewing the Sump.  What a site, what a view.

These 2 photos are of Rock Wrens.  DesertDale took at the petroglyphs on our ride.

Enjoy.  Kitfoxgal
