Oasis Near Glamis -Five Palms

     DesertDale and Kitfoxgal went on one big adventure to "The Five Palms Warm Springs" an oasis  near Glamis.

There is so much to do around Glamis.   The park office is open Fri., Sat., and Sun.  Then    the RV park is open  from Oct. to April.  For reservations by phone or internet.

The natural warm springs fed the different springs and pools.


 "Sassy's cafe is open most of the time.  They are expensive but good.  That is a no-no  for DesertDale and Kitfoxgal as they don't eat out , except for a treat.

This is one view of inside of the 5 Palms.  The water is real pleasant 91 degrees.

This is a view of the Imperial Sand Dunes.  

The Imperial Valley produces about 80% of our winter vegetables.  That just goes to show that this desert needs water.
