Desert Comes To Life On Our Way To Lake Havasu

Good afternoon folks. Hope you all had a good sleep last, as I did.
We were on our way to Lake Havasu City for the WORCS Races this week-end.
The World of Off Road Races has had 2 races for 2010 already. One in Phoenix, the second one at Buffalo Bills Casino at the Stateline. The 3rd is here at Lake Havasu,AZ. on March 26th-28th.
They do have 10 rounds of Motorcycle and 8 rounds for the ATV's.(photo from last year)

The wild flowers are in full bloom, here in the desert, as you can see by the photos.

Beavertail Cactus lives in dry, rocky desert flats and slopes. From Utag to western Arizona, Southern part of California, into Mexico. A joint broken fron a plant will take root in dry sand.

Glopemalow needs full sun kand needs little water.

Lupine are very hard to transplant. It needs full sun.

Brittlebush grows in the Mojave and Sonoran deserts.

Creosto Bush needs very little water.

Arizonia Poppy needs sun . Blooms in March and April.

The gangs is all here. That is Kent, Leann, Craig, Desertdale and my self. Almost forgot plus Bailey.

They are working on the WORCS track right now. There is a very long line of motorhomes just wating for the gates to open. We have a great site for all 3 of our rigs.

Take care and enjoy life. Kitfoxgal
