Prineville Reservoir Ride

Good morning to all you fine folks out there. Hope you all are staying nice and dry. As we are not since yesterday afternoon. It started to rain and it got cold.
But it was nice when our neighbours moved into the Milligan Valley OHV Staging Area at the "Alfalfa Curves" section, with us. There is lots of room for several rigs, so they did good and parked at a site not close to us.
They jsut happen to be about 8 riders, off road riders, that were having a "BalhelorPaty" for one of their friends. Great bunch of guys and no stiper ever showed up.

DesertDale is going to take me on one of those fine rides he finds when he is out riding his KTM.
One of the first photos we took was of the "Sisters" Moutains near Bend.

Then on to Prineville Reservior.
It is a State Park with camping, fishing and boating.
Fishing can be good anytime. It has rainbow and cutthroat trout, bass, catfish, crappie and crayfish. Trour fishing is year round. With "Ice Fishing" in the winter.
Fly fishing is best along the Crooked River.
Lat:44.146723N. Long:-120.73697
In the campground area there are 22 hook-ups, 23 tent sites and 3 deluxe cabins.
The campgrounds are open from May 1 to Sept. 30.

Desertdale took me to the "Powder House Cove Area". Great site for boat launching.a Great views of the area. Plus you see the Aruther Bowman Dam from there.

Attractios near by are: Smith Rock, Cove Palisadis, Cline Falls and Jasper Falls.

After our ride "The Master of Tours" is resting in his chair by our rig at our "Milligan Valley" site.

We had one fanatic stay. Even had a few critters show up.
Now we must head for the Sacramento area for a few days in just the pickup. AS we have to see one of those people they call a "doctor". Plus we might have the camper and pickup sold, here's hoping.
See you all when we get back to Bend and our home on wheels, "Love it.". Kitfoxgal
