Good afternoon to all.

 DesertDale,father  Coleen-daughter
Ken-son  Jamie-granddaughter
We had on fantastic adventure Saturday, with DesertDale's family, son Ken, daughter Coleen, and granddaughter Jamie and of course Kitfoxgal.
We took a ride over to the "Sonny Bono Salton Sea Wildlife Refuge for the day in Calipatrina.  We also took a lunch with us.

These are just a few of the "snow geese" that live in muddy fields.

There was so much to see.  So will just show a few of the photos that was taken, then show the rest in another posting.

Abert's Towhee live in desert.
The "Wildlife Refuge" is at the south-end of the Salton Sea, off of 111 highway.
They live in dry grasslands, sagebrush, desert
There are some 500 "National Wildlife Refuges" in the U.S.  Where you can learn about the environment.
The Harris's Antelope Squirrel live in the "good old" desert
We had our lunch at main entrance, where there are picnic tables.  It was passable.
Then back to our site on Kitfox Lane.
