Floyd Lamp Park Adventure In 2016 Plus More

The Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs is a wonder, right in that vast matroplous area of Las Vegas.
The park has some 2040 acres, in the center of Tule Springs.  There are a series  of small lakes , that is in  the Mojave Desert.
It was established in 1936 to protect the Big Horn Sheep.

The elevation very from 2,800 to 9,900 feet.  (this photo from goggle)

DesertDale took this in 2014.  We seen a few Peafowls, also known as peacocks.  They have small heads.  They are very colorful.

These 2 photos are of a Mom Mallard and her 2 young ones .  They winter in Mexico.

Last but not least is this Owl trying to hide from  the camera .  This photos was taken on our last trip to The Wild Life Range.  Mr. Southern does not have this years Owl photo ready as of 2:35.  Will post the current  photo of the owl when he send it to me.

Kitfoxgal enjoy life to  the fullest.
